Based on a true story. A fierce police detective investigates a successful lawyer suspected of drugging and sexually assaulting a young woman.
Ruth, a dauntless police investigator, sets out on a quest for truth and justice while still dealing with her own trauma. She has conducted countless routine investigations, but something is different about her new case. Ruth is suspecting a well-known and powerful man of drugging and sexually assaulting Anna, a thirty-something farm worker, who lives in a snowy, isolated cabin. The suspect is Josh Brown, a fifty-something lawyer representing the bank seizing and reselling the farm. Ruth, who was sexually assaulted in her youth and suffers from an eating disorder, is determined to investigate Brown. Her girlfriend Leoni tries to pressure her into therapy, mainly because the couple is planning on having a child soon.

Sharon Bar-Ziv

Bar-Ziv graduated in film from Tel Aviv University. In the 1990s he began working as an actor in series and movies for television. His cinematic work invariably focuses on social-liberal humanist subjects. His first film, Room 514, was awarded the Tribeca Special Director award.
